The little girl in my dream again. --Garrett

The same little girl from our flashback post appeared to me in another dream. This one was another dream where I was a little kid, but it wasn't a flashback; I don't really remember any of it happening to me in the past.

I was at my elementary school, and I think I was around 6 or 7. I was (hopelessly) building a fort out of sand, but the sand wouldn't stay put, it would always fall back down a little at the top. Steven was playing on the playset closeby, sliding down the slides and climbing all over it. After a few minutes, the little girl with the flowers drawn on her hands and arms walked over to me, wearing a little purple dress and smiling widely. She held her hand out towards me, introducing herself. "I'm Spring", she said. "I-I'm Garrett", I said, nervously. I stare at her flower-illustrated hand, and then I look back at her smile; so bright and warm and friendly. And then she giggles and asks "Well? Are you gonna shake my hand, silly?" I had had a cut wound on my hand from playing in the forest outside my parents' house and slicing my hand on a thorn from a vine. I reached out my hand and grabbed hers. Her hand was a lot warmer than I expected, and her hand felt like she had aloe laced in her skin. After we shook hands, we didn't really let go of each others' hands for a few seconds.

She giggled at me again, but then looked off into the distance towards the woods outside the fence bordering the school playgrounds. She looked at me and said "I have to go now. I'll be back later, okay?"

I looked down at my sad excuse for a sand fort and asked, "Okay. When will you be back?" The wind picked up very slightly, and when I looked up, she was already gone. I looked all around me, but I couldn't see her. I heard the faint noise of a girl's laughter accompanied with more laughter.

"Bye, Spring." I called out to the wind. I'm not sure if she could hear me or not though.

A terrifying nightmare. --Steven/Garrett

This is a nightmare we both shared last night.

We were in a foggy white area. We both had Desert Eagles in our right hands. We were just standing still in the room. This lasted for about ten seconds, when an Asian symbol started to fade into the floor of the area, if you could even call it a floor. Before we could tell what it was, both of us suddenly flung the barrels of the guns into our mouths and fired...

...but neither of us died. We just writhed in pain while standing up; the pain was so extreme and so unbearable. We felt the ripped flesh pile up in the back of our mouths and throat accompanied with a salty/bloody taste in our mouth. Blood started to flow down our throats and out our mouths soon after. We looked over at each other and both of us had giant, gaping holes in the back of our heads, but no blood. At all.

We both woke up soon after.

We have no idea what this dream could mean psychologically. Neither of us are depressed or anything, so it couldn't be that. We're also stumped about the symbol.

Flashback. --Steven/Garrett

Last night, we shared another dream, but this time it was a different dream. It was more of a flashback than anything, because this actually happened to us. This happened around 4 or 5 years ago.

We were playing hide and seek in Garrett's neighborhood with another kid. I can't quite remember his name, but he had just moved into town. (I think his name was Matt.) Around this point, we had been playing the game for around a half-hour, if we recall correctly, and I was "it". Garrett and Matt had found this hole in a brown picket fence behind a row of houses and they both climbed in and sealed the hole with small wooden planks that were lying around the fence. Soon after, I came along, found the hole, and kicked the sealed hole in with all my force. They both started screaming, while laughing at the same time. I remember that being one of the funniest days of our lives.

But something was strange. After I found them, I climbed through the fence and we rested, since we didn't play by the tagging rule of hide and seek. Down the picket-fenced grass alleyway in the neighborhood, we saw a little girl with blonde hair that seemed to be a few years younger than us walking through the grass and picking up plants from the ground. She seemed to have written on her hands and wrists, too.

She was never there when this actually happened, she was just in the dream.

So all in all, this last dream was a very nostalgic one, and good times were had. Both of the dreams between us were exactly the same, too, so we pretty much relived the memory, with the exception of the girl. we still feel like there's a reason why she was there, but we can't put our fingers on it. Her appearance was just completely random, and she made no acknowledgement to us. One thing we noticed is that all of the plants and grass around her were completely green, while the plants and grass around us were browning a bit.

That was unusual. --Garrett

This is the first time in over a year that I haven't had a dream. I guess it's better than nightmares. I missed those hilariously odd dreams though.

A unique nightmare. --Garrett

Last night I had a nightmare that was rather... different. The same skeletons from the last dream I posted about were standing around me while I was chained to a gurney (no not strapped, chained.) They were shining a light over my body while holding spoons in their hands, as odd as that sounds. They were all cackling and pointing at me. That's when I realized that my stomach area had been picked clean of all skin, muscle, organs, and even blood. It was just my rib cage. That's all.

All of the sudden, this tune began to play, and one of the skeletons took off both of one of the other skeletons' humerus and begins playing the xylophone on my rib cage, just like in the video. As he did that the rest of the skeletons just laughed at me, over and over. That's when I woke up.

Thinking about it now it's kinda funny.

An Odder Dream --Garrett

This dream wasn't particularly scary or anything. It was just... strange.

It started out with some of my friends and I standing around in one of our teacher's classroom. None of us were saying anything to each other, until every light in the room became a light green. Then a bunch of skeletons just jumped out of the closets and started dancing under the lights to no music at all. (inb4 2spooky4me) One of them came up to me, looked me straight in the face and let out a short "HAH". He reached out, grabbed my hand, and dragged me out there with the rest of the skeletons to dance. When I looked back to mey friends, they were all playing DDR in the corner of the room.

And then I woke up. I lost control of my laughter after that. It even woke Steven up from the other room.

I had the same dream again. --Steven and Garrett

But it was different this time.

This time, when the footsteps reached me from behind, I stopped sinking into the street. I couldn't move my head, only my eyes. I was still unable to see who was behind me, but soon after, I heard a masculine voice behind me say but a single phrase.

"The Winter is coming."

He said "winter" as if it were a name.

I couldn't recognize the voice though, but it was deep, and it echoed. Garrett had this dream, too.
